Greetings, Gods and Goddesses of Olympia,
The story of Echo and Narcissus is about a beautiful nymph, Echo that was rejected by narcissus and now you can hear her last words in large empty spaces also known as an echo. Because of narcissus cruelty and excessive vanity he was glanced upon his image and could never look back.
Narcissus is the son of one of the nymphs of thespian, so Aphrodite wouldn’t take narcissus beauty, because Narcissus would just kill himself without it, but at the same time, because of how beautiful she is, she would rather punish him for rejecting Echo just because he didn’t see her as a beautiful nymph, and because she couldn’t speak her mind than to leave him unaware of his actions. Aphrodite, because she is pretty, she would see physical appearance as her first priority, so she would take beauty as the worst of punishment.
In conclusion that she would take Narcissus’ beauty away from him and make him have to see himself in full body in the appearance of every human, and god when he puts his eyes towards them. In addition to Aphrodite’s punishment, he would be suffering even more from the effect of the water spirit, but he wouldn’t be suffering of food rejecting, we would just still have the effect that he can’t stop looking at himself for not even a millisecond.
